The Examination Boards, appointed by the Chairs of the Degree Programmes acting under delegation from the Director of the relevant Department pursuant to Decree no. 4447 of 20 May 2020, are composed of the lecturer or, in the case of courses divided into multiple modules, the lecturers responsible for the teaching activity, and at least one additional lecturer, researcher, or subject-matter expert (cultore della materia).
The lecturer in charge of the teaching activity remains personally responsible for the assessment and may not delegate this responsibility without the prior authorisation of the Director of the relevant Department.
Subject-matter experts who take part in the Examination Board are authorised by the Councils of the relevant Departments to express opinions within the scientific–disciplinary fields concerned.
