The Course will be on Linguistics: a discipline which will be dealt with under its many aspects (Structural, Functional, Generative, Applicative, Acquisitional). The course will deal also with the different variation of the Italian Language. The Course will analyze the various charactaristics of Lexicon, Phonology, Morphosyntax; the differences between written and spoken Language; the passive and active abilities; the structural characteristics of a text; the different typologies of texts.

To get to know the structure of the Italian Language, considered as a whole system of signs; to get to know its functioning mechanism, related to both oral and written expressions; to search the explanation of linguistic phenomena in reference to the rules of the italian morphosyntax; to deal with the problems related to the learining of the Italian Language (L2); to debate the likely methods of teaching of Italian as a second language, within the study of Italian as a specific discipline.
