The course covers some of the central themes of European Social Law. The first part will be devoted to discuss the rules that have favored the participation of the social partners and to their role in the development of a social Europe; secondly, we will focus on some key institutions, such as posting of workers and anti-discrimination protection; finally, we will address some recent EU reforms that are particularly significant.

Learning Objectives
The course aimes to introduce the main issues of European social law and guide the students in the development of both a critical attitude in the study of law and their argumentative skills, written and oral.

Lessons will be of a seminar type, interaction will be stimulated and participation will be appreciated.
The course also benefits of the contribution of international scholars.
Type of Assessment
For ATTENDING students, the finale grade will be based upon a term paper on a topic of European Social Law, to be agreed with the teacher.
For NOT-ATTENDING students, the oral exam will be based upon the following materials:
