The course deals with the examination of the legislation of the third sector, contained in the law 6 June 2016, n. 106 (delegation to the Government for the reform of the Third Sector, of the social enterprise and for the discipline of the universal civil service) and in the d. lgs. 3 July 2017, n. 117 (third sector code).
It will all be entities of the third sector. In particular volunteering, social promotion association, social enterprises and associative networks.

Learning Objectives
Acquire adequate knowledge of the Third Sector, its aims, its discipline and the subjects that animate it in the provision of services and in the construction of welfare policies and implementation of the principle of social solidarity.
To know the reality of the Third sector in Tuscany.
The student will be able to collaborate professionally with a third sector body, thus grasping the substantial job opportunities that there are in it.

Private law I and II.
Teaching Methods
The 24 hours of lessons will be used for one part by means of frontal teaching, for another part giving space to the reports that the students attending will hold in the classroom on topics assigned by the teacher. The report will be evaluated for the final exam. With the report the student will have to demonstrate the organizational skills of the topics to be treated, skills in legal writing, ability to synthesise and identify some problems already emerging in doctrine and / or jurisprudence.
The teacher uses the Moodle platform in which the material useful for preparing the report and oral exam will be uploaded. Students enrolled in the platform will be asked to intervene in the same in order to dialogue on particularly debated legal issues, addressed in class. This in order to increase the student's critical capacity
Type of Assessment
The exam consists of the written report presented orally in the classroom during the course in dialogue with the teacher and with the students and the oral exam to be held according to the calendar of appeals.
The oral examination is aimed at ascertaining the knowledge of the legal discipline of the third sector, the ownership of language and the ability to carry out organic and progressive speeches. It consists of two questions and the vote (always out of thirty) in the report will be taken into account in the final vote
Course program
The course allows you to know the vast scope of the third sector. It is rather extensive legislation that connotes it, especially in the light of the entry into force of the third sector code (Legislative Decree n. 117/2017).
Initially, some basic knowledge will be acquired regarding the legal entities governed by Title II of the first book of the civil code, the cooperatives and the concepts of mutuality, subjectivity, legal personality, capital autonomy, separation of assets, and administrator responsibilities.
Subsequently, many parts of the third sector code will be examined.
