Procedure

The graduation procedure is online. You can access it with your credentials from Online Services > Students > Submit thesis application

  • Instructions for BACHELOR'S DEGREES
  • Instructions for MASTER'S DEGREES, SPECIALISED DEGREES, FOUR-YEAR DEGREES
  • The dates of the sessions and the composition of the degree committees are published on the School's website at least 5 days before the start of the session.
  • From that moment, the graduating student may submit (if requested) a hard copy of the thesis to the supervisor and co-supervisors;
  • contact between the graduate and the lecturer and any notices produced by the system will be sent exclusively via institutional email (for students: ………….@stud.unifi.it, for lecturers: ....…….@unifi.it). Messages from private addresses cannot be taken into consideration;
  • All exams required by the study plan must be taken by the last exam session (this will be indicated in the graduation session calendar).

DECLARATION OF ORIGINALITY OF THE THESIS

Starting from the April 2019 session, graduating students of all degree programmes coordinated by the School of Law (Law, Legal Services, Italian and French Law, Italian and German Law) are required to complete a declaration certifying the originality of their thesis. The declaration, duly completed and signed, must be sent to the following email address: scuola@giurisprudenza.unifi.it - form (pdf - docx)

Drafting of the thesis

Instructions on the format of the written thesis

In order to reduce the size of the thesis, students are invited to adapt the format of their written work to the following criteria: 2000 characters per page (30-31 lines of 65 characters each) and bound in soft cardboard.
