- knowledge of the history and tasks of Papyrology

Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of the Greek language. Basic knowledge of Greek and Roman literature and history.
Teaching Methods
Lectures.
Students will actively participate in deciphering and discussing the proposed papyri.

Regular attendance is recommended. Students who, for personal reasons
personal reasons, will be unable to attend class, are required to contact
the Professor before the start of the course.
Type of Assessment
The test will consist of several questions on the topics covered in the course, with particular reference to:
- framing and history of the discipline
- methodological and technical aspects of papyrology
- description and discussion of the papyri analyzed in class
The student's capacity for argumentation and critical reflection in addressing and elaborating on the proposed topics will also be assessed.
It is necessary to demonstrate a sufficient level of preparation in all parts to pass the test.
The final assessment consists of the sum of the ratings obtained in all the proposed questions.
