Attainment of the basic notions concerning the institutional structure and functioning of the EU, the EU legislation and the relationship with national legislation, the judicial institution and their most important functions. Knowledge of certain aspects of the functioning of the internal market, and some EU policies. Students who have attended the course assiduously, may pass an optional test at the end of the course.
The written examination - based on open questions - will aim not just at verifying the basic notions acquired but also at assessing the student's capacity to understand the relationship between European legal sources and national legislation, and the mechanism for judicial control.

The exam modalities will be determined in line with the indications provided by the School of Law for the conduct of exams during the COVID emergency. If possible, for all students, attending and non-attending, the exam will be held in written form and in person.
The written test consists of open-ended questions and will last about 90 minutes.
Students who have attended the course assiduously, may pass a written test at the end of the course (optional).
If the exam takes place online, for needs related to the health situation, the exam will be held in oral form and will be generally articulated in 3 questions.
