Learning Objectives
Knowledge objectives: The course aims to provide the essential argumentative strategies for thinking reflectively and critically. The course also aims to identify the main theoretical and methodological categories useful in communication, with particular attention to the emotional dimension.
Competence objectives: The student must be able to move autonomously in the contents of the teaching and to produce a critical thought that can be used in society.
Behavioural objectives: il corso intende to encourage active participation during the lessons in order to extend the acquired cognitive tools to everyday life.

Teaching Methods
Lectures, each leaving time for discussion.
Workshop section with work in groups.
Type of Assessment
Oral examination and short written report. The final examination aims to assess the student's actual level of knowledge. This consists of a conversation with the teacher focused on various topics related to the content of the course. Particular attention will be addressed to the assessment of the student's capacities of problems contextualization and critical analysis.
