The course will provide the knowledge of pharmaceutical technology regarding the basic technological operations and the preparation of the main pharmaceutical dosage forms such as solid and liquid formulations, biphasic systems, colloidal systems, parenteral, ophthalmic, dermatological, and suppository preparations. Powders, papers, capsules, solutions, suspensions and emulsions for oral use, ointments, pastes, creams and gels will be prepared in the laboratory.

The final grade is an average between the written and the oral and evaluation of laboratory practices.
