Learning Objectives
Knowledge and understanding: acquisition of specific skills on settlements and dwelling structures in Prehistory with a focus on European evidence and in particular of Italy.
Applied knowledge and understanding: critical analysis and interpretation of evidence relating to the prehistoric population of Europe, dwelling sites, man/environment relationship, in a historical perspective

Course program
The course aims to provide the student with basic elements on occupation strategies and the land-use by prehistoric communities and on man/environment relationship.
Information on dwelling strategies will be related to knowledge about the landscape transformation during prehistory, the adaptation processes to climate change, human mobility, management and exploitation of natural resources.
