Course program
Between the end of the 4th and the end of 3rd millennium the Levant and Western Anatolia on the eastern shore of the Mediterranean experience a notable cultural and economic development, the formation of large urban centers with their powerful elites and a network of exchanges over long distances along traditional inland caravan and new coastal and maritime routes. The course will present the archaeological data of some key-sites with their territories exploring settlement processes, urban growth, arts and material culture.
