ENGLISH

The course covers some of the central themes of European Social Law. The first part will be devoted to discuss the rules that have favoured the participation of the social partners, as well as their role in the development of a social Europe; secondly, we will focus on some key institutions, such as posting of workers and anti-discrimination protection; finally, we will address some recent EU reforms that are particularly significant from our perspective.

The course introduces and discusses the main issues of European social law. It aims to improve the students' critical attitude in the study of law, as well as their argumentative skills, written and oral.

English

Lessons are of a seminar type, interaction is promoted and participation is strongly appreciated.
The course also benefits of the contribution of international scholars.

For ATTENDING students, the finale grade will be based upon a term paper on a topic of European Social Law, to be agreed with the teacher.

For NOT-ATTENDING students, the oral exam will be based upon the following materials:
