The textes and the materials will be indicated during the course.
Learning Objectives
Lerning objectives are:
a) to interpret and justify the suggested solutions;
b) to identify and formulate the problems;
c) to search and use the normative and jurisprudencial materials.
Prerequisites
Students must have passed the exams in: Constitutional Law (Diritto costituzionale generale), Private Law (Diritto Privato I). It is strongly recommended to attend the lessons only having passed the exam in Criminal law (Diritto penale I).
Teaching Methods
Front lessons: total 48 hours
Type of Assessment
Oral examination.
Grade is assigned according to the following parameters:
- knowledge of texts and materials used during the lectures;
- ability to organize discursively the
knowledge and quality of
exposure;
- using of proper legal language;
- ability of critical reasoning.
Course program
This is a seminar course, focusing on some fundamental issues of criminal law (e.g. interpretation, cause and recklesness, criminal law in place of work). It will start with some introductory lectures given by the teacher, with – possibly – the collaboration of judges and criminal lawyer. After this introduction, students will deal with further topics, mainly consisting in case-law material. During the final part of the seminar, the students will have to give the class a report on one or more of the topics they dealt with during the course.
