Learning Objectives
In line with one of the undergraduate course’s object, this course aims to reinforce the organizational and managerial skills. In general, this course wants to provide the student with the ability and knowledge to understand and
analyse the challenges organizations face when designing or re-designing
their structures. Specifically, regarding the knowledge and understanding area, the student would know the elements that characterize the organizational structure and would know how to interpret them in order to understand the organizational context in which they will work.
Regarding the area of applying knowledge and understanding, graduates would be able to put into practice models of organizational design following the theoretical and methodological aspects of Organizational Theories.
Finally, in the area of making judgment, the student would be able to observe and interpret the organizational contexts, apply the knowledge concerning the organizational structure for an in-depth and critical understanding of the organizational reality.
Prerequisites
No prerequisite is required.
Teaching Methods
Traditional lectures, project works in groups, case studies.
Type of Assessment
Final exam will be written. However, oral exam will be
considered only in case of a passing grade of the written exam. The written exam will be composed by two parts: the first based on multiple choices questions and the second with open questions.
