Course Content
Historical evolution of the financial markets in Italy from the Unification up to the present day; The regulation of the financial markets; The main stock exchange contracts; Derivative financial instruments; Jurisprudence on financial instruments and derivative contracts.
For attending students, the exam will take place on the notes taken during the lessons, enriched with various kinds of material (essays, press articles, etc.) which will be made available on the Moodle platform.
For non-attending students, the exam will take place on the following texts:

Globalization, political-juridical order and economic-financial order: power relations, current dynamics, potentialities and contradictions; Financial markets: notion and historical notes; Financial markets: evolution in Italy from the Unit up to the present day, with particular regard to the historical development of the regulation of listed companies; Financial markets today: positive discipline, the role of European legislation and the comparison with US regulations; Derivative financial instruments: nature, classification and role in financial markets; Derivative financial instruments and the so-called market pathologies; Derivative financial instruments in Italian jurisprudence.
