Knowledge of a financial statement, a balance sheet.

Knowledge of costs (calculation of the cost of labour force, direct and indirect costs, variable and fixed costs) and revenues.
Management of a project budget (workforce costs, tangible and intangible fixed asset, ...)

Learning Objectives
Objectives are:
1. Knowledge and understanding: To Know and be able to understand which are the economical and financial aspects of an educational provision, be able to read a budget;
2. Applying knowledge and understanding: To be able to define an investment choice;
3. Making judgements: To evaluate the economical and financial sustainability of an educational event, of a budget through the Canvas Model;
4. Communication skills: To communicate the contents of a Canvas Model;
5. Learning skills: To build a budget and to make intermedie evaluations.
Prerequisites
None yet it is preferred the attendance of the "Adult Education" and "Methodology of the research" courses held by Prof. Federighi and Boffo
Teaching Methods
The themes will be investigated through the use of practical discussion, debate, and project works.
Students attending the course will take part to Lectures, Seminars and workgroups.
The lecture is held on campus. If needed, Professor can register lessons as video conferences and upload them on the Moodle platform through “Teleskill live” software.
Type of Assessment
The examination will be done by a written test (closed questions, practical exercise) on the basis of what has been done during the lectures and according to the documents and materials uploaded on the Moodle class.
The exam will be organized in the same way for students attending and not attending the course.
